Specialized Recruiting Services in the O&P and DME Industries

Over the past several years, we have developed a specialty recruiting division, EXEK O&P, to recruit outstanding clinicians for our clients operating Orthotic and Prosthetic Health Care Facilities and DME manufacturing or sales and distribution operations. Given the general scarcity of qualified O&P Practitioners, we make it our business to reach out to Cos, CPs and CPOs who are ABC-certified, experienced and able to start upon hire. In licensing states, we devote extra resources to find clinicians who are already-licensed or who have the baseline qualifications (ABC-certification, educational degree in Orthotics and/or Prosthetics) to be able to obtain a license quickly.

Because we are an independent third-party recruiter, we provide a channel through which the most highly-qualified Orthotists and Prosthetists - particularly those who are currently employed - can seek out new employment opportunities without compromising their confidentiality or jeopardizing their existing jobs. Accordingly, we can provide our client O&P health care providers with access to "passive job seekers," highly-qualified and currently-employed candidates, who would not otherwise be known or available on the market.

EXEK O&P is not a web-surfing, paper-pushing agency. We are a hands-on, proactive recruitment firm that seeks out hard-to-find applicants, many of whom are not actively on the job market. Our efforts, resources, and expertise save our clients time and money.

As a family-run business, we pride ourselves on our personal approach to the recruiting process, providing a higher level of service, relative to the standard in the industry. Throughout the recruitment process, we work closely with our client companies to adapt ourselves to their requirements and processes, to provide candidates who fit client specifications, to gather and provide detailed, pertinent information on candidates (especially information beyond the resume), to facilitate interview arrangements and offer negotiations and to ensure a good and lasting match.

Fee Arrangements to Fit Our Clients' Needs

At EXEK Recruiters, we make every effort to gear our fee arrangements to fit our client companies' needs. As a small, family-owned business, we can be flexible and open to negotiating fee arrangements that will be manageable for you. In addition, we provide a 90-day free replacement guarantee, effective upon timely payment of the fee and a discount for early payment of the fee. In retained searches, we provide a year-long guarantee that includes a refund of up to two-thirds of the fee.

Contingency search

The contingency search is the arrangement most frequently used by our clients. Based on the employer's requirements, we conduct an in-depth search, with payment of search fees due only upon the hiring of a referred candidate. In general, the fee is a percentage of the new employee's first year's salary.

Retained search

Assignments are generally reserved for rush, extremely sensitive or high-level assignments and typically involve a partial advanced payment that gives priority to your assignment. The full payment is not contingent upon placement. Fees for retained search are open to negotiation. In general, they require and upfront fee and additional payments after 30 days and upon completion of the search.

Container search

The container search arrangement involves an engagement fee, paid in advance to offset expenses of a search. Where a placement is made, the container fee is deducted from the overall search fee. If no placement is made, the advance container payment can be applied to another search for the same client.
